17. Parable of Talents 18. Sheep & Goats
I finally got all the parables posted like I was hoping to do. I started in January for my New Years Goal, and now in April, I just completed the 16th one. Each week I will post a new one that I've been working on. It's amazing how much these simple stories have taught me. If you have anything to add or share, I'd love to hear your comments. There are many parables that I didn't even know existed. Click to see them enlarged.
14. continued... 14. continued again... 15. The Fig Tree

13. Marriage of the King's Son 13. continued... 14. 7 Brothers and 1 Wife

Love them....You are so awesome Wendy!
That's cool. What did you do all that for? For FHE lessons or something else?
I started reading just the intro page and thought I'd share what a BYU professor said about the "mysteries of God." He defined the mysteries of God as all the things you need to know in order to be able to return to live with God again. I thought it was really helpful because I'd always kind of wondered what that meant. It was a mystery to me what the mysteries were! But his definition made a lot of sense to me, and I realized the mysteries of God are just all the little things about the gospel I've been learning my whole life. I think your definition is very similar to what he defined it as too.
Thanks Brit! No, I didn't do it for a FHE. At the beginning of this year I just felt very strong that I needed to study just the parables for some reason. I send out an email every week with a new one that I'll post on here as well. It gives me a spiritual boost once a week :)
